Despite the nice weather or perhaps because of it several members and some others got together in London for a meeting to discuss a range of issues facing the organisation. Issues discussed were broadening of membership, software patents, training and certification. Next meeting is planned end of July / Early August. It was reaffirmed that the organisations primary role was to promote the capacity and stability of our membership. Reassure the wider marketplace and the public sector that the organisation is seeking to address issues of support and training. Looking forward the group agreed that more work needed to be done on getting system integrators to adopt zope/plone.
